Phil°adel"phian (), a.[Gr. filadelfia brotherly love, from fila°delfos brotherly; fi°los loved, loving, friendly + 'adelfo°s brother.] Of or pertaining to Ptolemy Philadelphus, or to one of the cities named Philadelphia, esp. the modern city in Pennsylvania.
