(r?-j?kt"), v. t.[imp. & p. p.Rejected; p. pr. & vb. n.Rejecting.] [L. rejectus, p. p. of reicere, rejicere; pref. re- re- + jacere to throw: cf. F. rejeter, formerly also spelt rejecter. See Jet a shooting forth.]
