(), n.[AS. snaca; akin to LG. snake, schnake, Icel. snkr, snkr, Dan. snog, Sw. snok; of uncertain origin.] (Zol.) Any species of the order Ophidia; an ophidian; a serpent, whether harmless or venomous. See Ophidia, and Serpent.
