It was first synthesized by Alexander Shulgin and is used as entheogenic recreational drug. It is commonly known by its street name R2D2. ==Chemistry== 2C-T-4 is the 2-carbon homolog of aleph-4. The full chemical name is 2-(HREF="http://www.kotoba.ne.jp/word/11/isopropyl" TITLE="isopropyl">isopropylthio)-2,5-dimethoxyphenyl )-ethanamine.
