Heart 107.3 (call sign: 7XXX) is a Hobart radio station, which was identified as Magic 107 until August 2006. The station plays music from the 70's to today, and targets an older demographic than the other two commercial radio stations serving Hobart (Sea FM & 7HO FM). Their positioner is Hobart's Greatest Hits Heart 107.3 was effectively created to replace the old 7HT, after that station converted to a narrowcast racing format. 7HT became a racing station during the early 1990s. 7HT had obtained an FM conversion license, which the new owners had little need for. Subsequently a consortium lead by Andrew Reimer and John Bender arranged to lease the FM license. The station's first local breakfast host was Brett Marley,who had been the former drive host on 7HO FM. The line up also included well known Melbourne announcer and Hey Hey It's Saturday announcer John Blackman as well as Alan Jones.
