ACORN-NS (Atlantic Canada Organization of Research Networks - Nova Scotia) operates an ORAN (Optical Regional Advanced Network) in Nova Scotia, Canada. ACORN-NS runs the Nova Scotia GigaPOP (Gigabit point of presence), and is Nova Scotia's partner in Canada's Advanced Network Alliance, the CANARIE CAnet 4 national high speed research and education network. Members of ACORN-NS include most of the province's universities, several major provincial and federal government departments and organizations, and some smaller community and regional networks.
