APPH designs and manufactures hydraulic systems and (landing gear) for civil and military aircraft. ==History== APPH began as the British subsidiary, AP Precision Hydraulics, of an American engineering company, in 1985. The British subsidiary was based on Shaw Road in Speke.〔(Flight Global March 1991 )〕 It was bought by BBA Group in September 1987 for £25 million (£ million current value). It changed to the name APPH on 3 October 1995.
