Aryaman ((サンスクリット:अर्यमन्), pronounced as "aryaman"; nominative singular is aryama) is one of the early Vedic deities. His name signifies "close friend", "play-fellow" or "companion".〔Monier-Williams Sanskrit Dictionary〕 He is the third son of Aditi, the mother of the Adityas.
