Acratopotes In Greek mythology, Acratopotes (Greek: ), the drinker of unmixed wine, was a hero worshiped in Munychia in Attica.〔Polemo, ''ap. Athen''. ii. p. 39〕 According to Pausanias, who calls him simply Acratus, he was one of the divine companions of Dionysus,〔Similar in name to ''Dionysus Acratophorus'', the "unmixed wine" epithet by which Dionysus was worshiped in Phigaleia in Arcadia.〕 who was worshiped at Attica.〔Pausanias, i. 2. § 4〕 Pausanias saw his image at Athens in the house of Polytion, where it was fixed in the wall. ==See also==
