In the Eastern Orthodox Church, Aeiparthenos (Greek ) is the title of the Theotokos which refers to the "Ever Virgin" Mary, mother of Jesus, thus affirming the doctrine of the Perpetual virginity of Mary.〔''What Every Catholic Should Know about Mary'' by Terrence J.
