Aetnaeus (Greek: ) was an epithet given to several Greek and Roman gods and mythical beings connected with Mount Aetna, such as Zeus, of whom there was a statue on Mount Aetna, and to whom a festival was celebrated there, called Aetnaea,〔Schol.
