Agilisys is a software and business services provider which has its headquarters in London with a focus in local government and citizen-centric technology products. Employing around 1,900 staff, it has gained a reputation in providing customer services, ICT and consulting services. The company was started in 1998 by Manoj Badale and Charles Mindenhall. Its current structure being established in 2004, out of a merger between netdecisions, Agilisys Contact Services and Agilisys. Agilisys is part of a wider family of Blenheim Chalcot companies. In 2015, the company established itself as an employee-owned company through an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). == Company history == Agilisys traces its roots back to the founding of netdecisions by Manoj Badale and Charles Mindenhall in 1998. Early customers of the company included BBC, Coca-Cola, Exel Logistics and Thomson Travel Group. Agilisys was founded as a joint venture with netdecisions in 2003, with a public sector focus. The same year saw the establishment of Agilisys Contact Services as a result of the purchase of Contact Partners. Agilisys, netdecisions and Agilisys Contact Services (ACS) combined under the Agilisys brand in 2004, becoming part of the wider family of Blenheim Chalcot companies. In 2004, Agilisys entered into its first Strategic Partnership with a local government organisation. The London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham partnership with Agilisys eventually led to the creation of the H&F Bridge Partnership (HFBP) in 2006. Further partnerships with local councils have been entered into with Cumbria Country Council (2005), Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council and Mouchet Group (2006), Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council Council (2009) North Somerset Council (2010), Barking and Dagenham London Borough Council (2010), Tower Hamlets Council (2012), Bristol City Council (2012), Wolverhampton City Council (2013), Bolton and Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council (2013). Partnerships in the third sector have been with the Citizen's Advice Bureau (2011) and Save the Children (2013). In 2008, Agilisys appointed its first CEO, Kay Andrews. Agilisys Digital, Angilisys Engage, Agilisys Automate and Agilisys Revenue Collection made up the Digital Transformation division of the company. In 2012, Steven Beard was appointed as CEO, with Kay Andrews becoming Executive Director for Client Development. Agilisys Arch was launched in 2012 and aims to give young people the opportunity to gain technical expertise as an alternative to a university degree. Co-founded by Ben Rowland, the apprenticeship branch of Agilisys trains its apprentices for a level 3 Diploma which covers digital skills such as Search Engine Marketing, Data Analysis and Social Media.〔()"New apprenticeship to train thousands of young people in digital marketing".
