Agliana is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Pistoia in the Italian region Tuscany, located about northwest of Florence and about southeast of Pistoia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 15,405 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Agliana contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) S. Piero, S. Niccolò, S. Michele, Spedalino, Ferruccia, Catena, Ponte dei Bini, and Ponte alla Trave.
