Ajdar Anık better known as Ajdar the World Hyper Star (born in Mardin, Turkey on 10 February 1973) is a Kurdish origin mechanical engineer from Turkey who is also a singer and songwriter. He is known for his unorthodox singing style. He graduated from Trakya University in mechanical engineering and worked in the domain for eight years. He launched a singing career by gaining fame by taking part in the selection rounds for in 2003 and creating controversy with the jury who said he could never be a pop singer. He launched his cheeky pop tune "Alırım Senden Tüm Yetkimi". His music video "Çikita Çikita" became one of the most-watched music videos in Turkey. Following that, he appeared in a series of shows on national Turkish television stations as a light pop singer creating frequent confrontations with his controversial discourse with talk show hosts and program guests.
