Akowonjo
Akowonjo is a semi-urban community in Lagos State, Nigeria. It comes under the Alimosho local government area of Lagos state. It is populated by Aworis and non-indigenous peoples and comprises major settlements such as Omititun, Santos, Akowonjo, Egbeda, Sanni Olopa, Alimosho, Shasha, Orisunbare, Banrneke, Alabata, Alaguntan. It is bordered by six towns cum local government areas namely, Ikeja, Agege, Mosan Okunola, Egbeda-ldimu, Agbado-okeodo and Ejigbo. Skills & Ideas Development Initiatives (SKIDI); a Small and Medium Sized Enterprises powered Incorporated Trustee organisation is located at Akowonjo.
