Al-Dahiri
Zechariah al-Dahiri (16th century Yemen), author of ''Sefer HaMusar'' (circa 1580), a work of Hebrew rhymed prose narrative, influenced by al-Harizi's Tahkemoni. The vocalization of ''Sefer HaMusar'' work gives insight to scholars into Yemenite Hebrew pronunciation. Among the various adventures and tales told in ''Sefer HaMusar'', al-Dahiri writes of a voyage of his to Safed (the kabbalistic philosophies of which he describes in Maimonidean, neo-Platonic terms rather than purely mystical, theosophical, or sefirotic).〔Sefer Hammusar by Zachariā al-Dāhrī, ed. Yehuda Ratzaby (Ben-Zvi, Tel-Aviv: 1965).〕 A critical edition of ''Sefer HaMusar'' has been produced by professor Yehuda Ratzaby. ==References== 〔
