Alcathous () was the name of several people in Greek mythology: *Alcathous, son of Pelops, killed the Cithaeronian lion. *Alcathous, son of Aesyetes, husband of Hippodameia, the daughter of Anchises and sister of Aeneas, who was educated in the house of Alcathous.〔Homer.
