Alector (; ) refers to more than one person in classical myth and history: *Alector, the father of Leitus.〔Pseudo-Apollodorus, 1. 9. § 16〕 Homer calls him "Alectryon",〔Homer, ''Iliad'' 17. 602〕 and Diodorus "Electryon", naming him among the sons of Itonus.〔Diodorus Siculus, ''Library of History'', 4. 63. 7〕 According to John Tzetzes, Alector was also the father of Clonius, Arcesilaus and Prothoenor (his nephews according to Diodorus) by different mothers: he is said to have fathered Leitus with Polybule, Arcesilaus with Cleobule, Prothoenor with Arteis, and Clonius with Acteis.〔Tzetzes, ''Allegoriae Iliadis'', Prologue, 533–536〕 *Alector, a son of Anaxagoras and father of Iphis, king of Argos. He was consulted by Polyneices as to the manner in which Amphiaraus might be compelled to take part in the expedition against Thebes.〔Pseudo-Apollodorus, 3. 6. § 2〕〔Pausanias, ''Description of Greece'' 2. 18. § 4〕 *Alector of Sparta, son of Argeus and Hegesandra, father of Iphiloche (or Echemela), who married Megapenthes, son of Menelaus.〔Homer, ''Odyssey'' 4. 10 with scholia〕 *Alector of Elis, son of Epeius, brother of Hyrmine. He was allied with Phorbas of Thessaly. By Phorbas' daughter Diogeneia, he became father of Amarynceus.〔Diodorus Siculus, ''Library of History'', 4. 69. 2〕〔Eustathius of Thessalonica on Homer, pp. 303 & 1598〕 ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Alector」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
