Opening of the affiliate in Belgium. 1992 Launch of the anti-inflammatory aceclofenac in Spain. 1993 Opening of the affiliate in Portugal. 1994 Opening of the new headquarters of Almirall in Barcelona. 1995 Inauguration of the extension and remodelling of the pharmaceutical plant in Sant Andreu de la Barca (Barcelona). 1997 Merger of Almirall and Prodesfarma. 2000 Approval of the marketing of the anti-migraine agent almotriptan by the FDA.
