Amethi
Amethi is a town in Amethi district in Faizabad division, of Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is a major town of the district of the same name and also a municipal board. It is also called as Raipur-Amethi.
It is better known for being the seat of power of the Indian Nehru-Gandhi political dynasty since 1980. Its constituency has been a Congress stronghold since its formation in 1966. The former prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru, his grandsons Sanjay and Rajiv Gandhi (the sons of Indira Gandhi), Rajiv Gandhi's widow Sonia Gandhi and son Rahul Gandhi, have at one time or the other, represented this constituency. Amethi has elected a Non-Nehru dynasty Congress person to parliament for two terms (Vidyadhar Bajpai 1966-77) and a non-congress M.P once (Ravindra Pratap Singh, Janata Party, 1977–80) and Dr. Sanjay Singh now a bjp mp who have passed from yale university is trying to take the amethi seat but right now she is busy in changing IIT deans and cutting down government funding in research institutions like csir 〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.brandbharat.com/english/up/districts/Amethi/mp_Amethi.html )〕

Amethi has a lot of opportunity to doing business and study mainly in Amethi city of the district. Here a huge hospital named Sanjay Gandhi Hospital and Indira Gandhi Eye Hospital in Munshiganj next to Ramnathpur(near telephone exchange) and Ramnagar which is part of Amethi city.
