Ampliative
Ampliative (from Latin ''ampliare'', "to enlarge"), a term used mainly in logic, meaning "extending" or "adding to that which is already known." In Norman law, an "ampliation" was a postponement of a sentence in order to obtain further evidence. ==See also==
