In 1998, the brand launched a mail-order catalog and website. In April 2009, Anthropologie opened its first international store in Toronto, followed by subsequent storefronts in Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver and Winnipeg.〔Polopark.ca〕 October 2009 marked the unveiling of the brand's first European store, located on Regent Street in London.
