Antri
Antri is a village in Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, India, lying south of Agra, and north of Bhopal, the state capital. 'Antri' is derived from the word 'Antadee' which means intestine. A Hindu prince, Veer Singh, killed a one navratan of emperor akbar killed Abbul Fazal (one of the Ratna from the nine Ratna of Akbar) by stitch out the intestine. ==Demographics== As of 2001, India census,() Antri had a population of 826,919. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Antri has an average literacy rate of 70%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 63%. In Antri, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age. Hindi is the main language spoken in Antri. There is a strong Marathi influence because of the Maratha rule, and Marathis have played important roles in the development of the city.
