Apatheism ( a portmanteau of ''apathy'' and ''theism/atheism''), also known as pragmatic atheism or practical atheism, is acting with apathy, disregard, or lack of interest towards belief or disbelief in a deity or deities. An apatheist is someone who is not interested in accepting or denying any claims that gods exist or do not exist. An apatheist lives as if there are no gods and explains natural phenomena without reference to any deities. The existence of gods is not rejected, but may be designated unnecessary or useless; gods neither provide purpose to life, nor influence everyday life, according to this view.〔.〕 In other words, an apatheist is someone who considers the question of the existence of gods as neither meaningful nor relevant to their life. Some apatheists hold that if it were possible to prove that God does or does not exist, their behavior would not change. ==Definition== Practical atheism can take various forms: * Absence of religious motivation—belief in gods does not motivate moral action, religious action, or any other form of action; * Active exclusion of the problem of gods and religion from intellectual pursuit and practical action; * Indifference—the absence of any interest in the problems of gods and religion; or * Unawareness of the concept of a deity.〔. 〕 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Apatheism」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
