Areka Areka is a town in southern part of Ethiopia. Located in the Wolayita Zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region some 300 kilometers southwest of the capital, Addis Ababa. This town has a latitude and longitude of and an elevation of 1774 meters above sea level. It is the administrative center of Boloso Sore woreda.
