Located in the Wolayita Zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region some 300 kilometers southwest of the capital, Addis Ababa. This town has a latitude and longitude of and an elevation of 1774 meters above sea level. It is the administrative center of Boloso Sore woreda.
