Arigohal
Arigohal is a village in Anantnag district, Jammu & Kashmir, India, 2 kilometers from they Khanabal to Pahalgam road, connected to Akad Park via a small road. The population of the village is about 2256. The River Lidder is on its west side. This village is one of the villages of Khoveripora block. the nearest post office is at seer-hamdan The majority of the inhabitants are farmers. The villagers typically remain in near isolation in winter when they travel to different parts of India to sell Kashmiri shawls to earn their livelihood. Islam is the only religion practised in Arigohal. This village has good scenic beauty, featuring an eye popping view of the river Lidder at the time of sunset. Yellow mustard flowers bloom in excess in the months of April and May and most inhabitants agree the sight of the flowers is quite pleasant. Majority of the people living in this village are middle-class people. The major source of livelihood is shawl business.
