Aseed
Aseed is a Yemeni delicacy. It is a fish meal, usually dried fish served with local cheese and a fresh salad of garlic and spring onions with meat and sauce. Typically it is smothered in gravy. Aseed is also a mixture of water, salt and flour made into a dough and cooked that way, then eaten with gravy. It can also be a sweet dish by adding some sugar and butter to the dough mixture then eating it with honey and browned butter or a sweet date mixture. Aseed is eaten particularly at lunchtime and during Ramadan. ==References==
