''Augustaea'' is a genus of jumping spiders. The single described species ''Augustaea formicaria'' is only found in Singapore. Szombathy described both sexes of this ant-like species, with both about six millimeters long, and put them close to ''Agorius''. His drawings suggest that ''A. formicaria'' might belong to ''Orsima''.〔Murphy & Murphy 2000: 270〕 However, no study was published on it since its first description in 1915.〔Platnick 2007〕 == References == 〔 * (2000): An Introduction to the Spiders of South East Asia.
