Auria was raised as a Muslim, but it is possible she later accepted Roman Catholicism. She married King Fortún Garcés of Pamplona (''Fortoûn ibn Garsiya''), who died in 922. He was a Catholic. These are the children of Auria and Fortún: *Íñigo Fortúnez *Aznar Fortúnez *Velasco Fortúnez *Lope Fortúnez *Onneca Fortúnez〔Cañada Juste, Alberto (2013).
