Avolasca is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about southeast of Turin and about southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 292 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Avolasca contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Montebello, Grua, Baiarda, Casa Borella, Oliva, Tassare, Mereta, Pissine, and Isolabella.
