Avolon is an aircraft leasing company based in Ireland. It was founded in May 2010 by Domhnal Slattery,〔(【引用サイトリンク】accessdate=2010-12-18 )〕 and a team from RBS Aviation Capital including John Higgins, Dick Forsberg, Tom Ashe, Andy Cronin, Pat Hannigan and Ed Riley with initial capital of US$1.4 billion.〔(【引用サイトリンク】accessdate=2010-12-18 )〕 The equity commitment of US$1.4 billion was from four leading international investors: Cinven, CVC Capital Partners, Oak Hill Capital Partners and the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation.
