Bahirwali
The village of Bahirwali ( Marathi: बहिरवली Urdu:بھرولی) is the largest village in Khed Taluka of Ratnagiri district in Konkan. The village is located near the bank of the river Jugbudi River and Vashishti, 30 kilometers from Khed. It is divided into several localities like Bahirwali No 1, Bahirwali No. 2, Bahirwali No 3, Bahirwali Buddha Wadi, and Bahirwali Kunbhi Wadi. ==Culture and religion== There is tradition of interfaith harmony among Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists of the village with mutual respect for values and tradition. Most of the Kokani Muslims are descendants of Muslims who converted peacefully by Sufi branch of Islam. The area is dominated by Chougles.
