Baiara
Baiara ((ベンガル語:বাইয়ারা)) is a Village of Nangalkot Upazila of the Comilla District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
The origin of name of Baiara village is known as at a time when this area was ruled by Nabab Fazilatunnesa, and then there were six brothers who were very strong. They used to attain wrestling competition in different area and always won. Everybody at a time became fearful about them, gradually for their dominate the village name became Baiara. It is under 7 no Jodda union, about 40% people of this village are related with agriculture and about 60% people are composed of middle class or rich family. Literacy rate is 90%. == Baiara Bazaar == There are 100 shops in Baiara Bazaar; it is one of the biggest bazaar of Nangalkot Upazila. Friday and Tuesday are hat day. There selling and purchasing are contracted from noon to midnight. More people from other villages are also come here to buy and sell their goods in this bazaar.
