Baikunthe is a village in the Eastern Hilly Region of Nepal. It is controlled by the Baikunthe Village Development Committee (VDC) of Bhojpur district in Koshi Zone. Its position on earth is North 27 degree 3 minutes (Longitude) and East 87 degree (Latitude). Chhapgau, Sirise, Sagrabas, Baikunthe, Dingla, Kiba, Kholakharka and Kuwapani are some of the sister villages under Baikunthe Village Developmental Committee (Reference 3). ==Geography== The village is located at the elevation of 5400 Feet (1645 meters) from the sea level. However, the elevation differs from place to place. For example Kiba- 1950 m, Kholakharka-1650 m, Dingla-1610 m,Sirise-1125 m, Sagrbas- 1570 m, Chaapgau- 1430 m, and Kuwapani 1498 m. A small river called Makuwa Khola flows through the bottom of the Baikunthe village. This is the main source of water for agriculture.
