Bandesha
The Bandechha (also spelled Bandesha or Badesha) is a Jatt clan.〔''A Glossary of the Tribes and Castes of Punjab and the North West Frontier Province'' Volume II page 881 by Horace A Rose〕〔''Punjabi Musalmans'' by J M Wikely page 112〕 ==History and origin== They claim Suryavanshi descent. Ignoring the historical facts, K.C. Yadav holds the view that most of the Jat tribes came to the Punjab in eleventh century during the days of Mahmud of Ghazni and Orhan. Bandechha too are believed to have migrated to the province at this time. According to some traditions, Bandechha clan originated from the village Fatehgarh Churian of Gurdaspur district.
