Barzago is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about northeast of Milan and about southwest of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,538 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Barzago contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Verdegò and Bevera.
