Beenzino
Lim Sungbin (Korean:임성빈), better known by the stage name Beenzino (Korean:빈지노, born September 12, 1987) is a distinguished South Korean rapper and MC. He is currently under Illionaire Records. Beenzino made his first official public appearance at Dok2's "Hustle Real Hard Concert" on June 5, 2011. Beenzino's name is a parody of American rapper Benzino’s name.
== Early Life and Education ==
Beenzino spent most of his childhood in Christchurch, New Zealand and moved to Korea before middle school. He went to middle school in Yangpyeong, in Gyeonggi province. After graduating from Seoul Arts High School, he enrolled at Seoul National University to study sculpture and graduated by 2014.
Beenzino first gained recognition by posting recordings to the DC Tribe website after becoming more involved in composing hip-hop lyrics. He was also first recruited by Simon D through the DC Tribe website. Beenzino gained further recognition by featuring in albums from Dok2, Epik High, Supreme Team, and Verbal Jint, and his involvement in albums as Jazzyfact (with producer Shimmy Twice) and duo, HotClip (with Beatbox DG).〔
