Belagur

Belagur is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.〔Village code= 1024300 〕〔 Belagur, Chitradurga, Karnataka 〕 It is located in the Hosadurga taluk of Chitradurga district in Karnataka.
==Temples==
The main deity of this place is Lord Hanuman called "Veera Prathapa Anjaneya". It was installed by Sage Vyasaraya about 750 years ago. Sri Bindu Madhav Sharma, a member of a family of ancestral priests of Lord Hanuman Temple in this town, attained the exalted state of self-realization 30 years ago. Since then, through the light of his self transformation, he has transformed the face of this sleepy town into a true "Belakku-uru" synonymous with town of lights - Belagur. In a span of thirty years, Swamiji has developed this place into a spiritual oasis. He gives free suggestions for devotes problems.()
