Bertiolo () is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about northwest of Trieste and about southwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2006, it had a population of 2,555 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Bertiolo contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Virco, Pozzecco, and Sterpo.
