Birdhawar is a village located on the bank of the North Koel River, in the Palamau district of the Indian state of Jharkhand. Muhammadganj is the post office and police station of Birdhawar. MdGanj is the block of Birdhawar. Birdhawar is surrounded by Haider Nagar block to the west, Rohtas block to the North, Nabinagar block to the East, and Nawhatta block to the south. Area cities include Hussainabad, Garhwa, Aurangabad, Dehri-on-sone. This place is on the border of the Palamau District and Aurangabad District, Bihar. Nabinagar is east towards this place. Birdhawar also borders Rohtas district. It is near the Bihar state border. There is a Lord Shiva temple to the west of the village, a Devi Sheetla mandir on the east side of the village, and a Devi Mandap at the center of the village. Birdhawar has a general store and two rice-flour mills.
