It is the focal point of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's of Jaunpur mirror and scale of human values on the earth. This village has an intimate relation with the Ramapur, Azamgarh. Bishunpur has provided one of his best "Rastriya Swayamsevak" who worked to continue the flow of human life and flame of love on the earth, was Shree Parash Nath Mishra, treasurer of the first Vishwa Hindu Sammelan (World Hindu Conference 〔("World Hindu Conference" ). World Hindu Conference web page〕) January, 1966〔(“first Vishwa Hindu Sammelan on the auspicious occasion of Maha Kumbh Mela on Mauni Amavasya (new-moon day) [22, 23 and 24 January 1966] at Prayag.” ). Vishwa Hindu Parishad has revived memories of the Prayag Sammelan organised by Emperor Harshavardhan several centuries ago, by holding this first Vishwa Hindu Sammelan on the auspicious occasion of Maha Kumbh Mela on Mauni Amavasya (new-moon day) (23 and 24 January 1966 ) at Prayag〕 of (Vishva Hindu Parishad) in Allahabad. He was 1st Rashtriya Swayamsevak of RSS who started the 1st day RSS Sangh Shakha in Naini Jail during Emergency in India. He was a worker for Bajrang Dal and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a close associate of Murli Manohar Joshi and Keshari Nath Tripathi of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and BJP.
The village name was chosen by the local Gautam gotra Saryupareen Brahmin inhabitants who follow the character of Lord Vishnu i.e Lord of wealth and prosperity; and their main God is Shiva who is the Lord of power in Trinity. People of the village are referred to as Vyashi, Mishra Brahmins. Beside Shri Parasnath Mishra(RSS),two other prominent personalities of the village are Shri Shridhar Mishra(Physics), Principal, National Inter College Pattinarendrapur, Jaunpur and Professor Ram Chandra Tiwari, former Head of the Department of Geography, University of Allahabad.〔Geography Of India by Tiwari, R.C.
