Biçənək
Biçənək (also, Bichanek, Bichenak, and Bichenek) is a village and municipality in the Shahbuz District of Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan. It has a population of 1,157. The modern village was founded in the second half of the nineteenth century as a Molokan Russian settlement named Karmalinovka. The Russians abandoned the village in 1919 and in 1920, it was renamed to Biçənək, after a mediaeval village that existed here, and repopulated mostly by Azeris from the neighbouring village of Khynzirak.〔Elkhan Nuriyev.
