Bjørkelangen is the administrative centre of Aurskog-Høland municipality, Norway. Its population (2007) is 2,438(). Bjørkelangen became the administrative centre of the Aurskog-Høland municipality in 1966. It is located in the north end of the lake named Bjørkelangsjøen. There is an elementary school, a junior high school, and two high schools in the village. The first high school is Bjørkelangen Videregående Skole which is a traditional high school with a broad scholarly focus area. The second high school is Kjelle Videregående Skole which is focusing on forestry and agricultural education.
