Blaand Blaand is a fermented milk product made from whey. It is similar in alcohol content to wine. ==History== Blaand was introduced to Scotland by Vikings. It was a traditional Scottish drink for centuries, but it was not commercialized; production ended in the mid-20th century. It has recently (2005) been revived and commercialized by Humphery Errington, under the "Fallachan" brand, ''fallachan'' being a Scottish Gaelic word for "hidden treasure".
