Bohipora is a village situated away from Kupwara District in the Indian administered Jammu and Kashmir.The population is approximately 5,000. Bohipora gained recognition after the establishment of the Government Degree College in Kupwara in 1988. Since the opening of the college, Bohipora has received more government attention and as a result conditions have improved. Every year thousands of students attend the college.
