Brande is a railway town with a population of 7,065 (1 January 2014)〔(BEF44: Population 1st January, by urban areas ) database from Statistics Denmark〕 located at the railroad between Vejle and Herning in Ikast-Brande municipality in Region Midtjylland in the central area of the Jutland peninsula in west Denmark. Until 1 January 2007 it was the seat of the municipal-council of Brande municipality.
