== History ==
Brandlive was created in 2010 by Ben McKinley and Fritz Brumder (current CEO) as a product of Cascade Web Development as a way to incorporate live video into online shopping.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Portland startup Your Brandlive infuses online retail with in-store interaction )〕 The idea for Brandlive came when Brumder was using Skype to see a friend’s new retail store in New York City, and made a purchase as results of the demonstration via video communication.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=MTS Episode 42 - Brandlive )〕
In 2012, Brandlive was established as a separate entity.
