Breiavatnet
Breiavatnet is a small lake in the city centre of Stavanger, Norway. The lake gets its water from Mosvatnet, by the stream Kannikbekken, which flows through the city. The surface of the lake is 310 m², and is only a few feet deep at its deepest. By the lake lies Stavanger cathedral, the City Park, Stavanger Cathedral School and Stavanger train station. The lake is the home of various birds, such as swans, seagulls, ducks and sparrows. There is scarcely any fish in the water, and of old, the principal of Stavanger Cathedral School is the only one with rights to go fishing in Breiavatnet.
