Brickworld
Brickworld Chicago is a convention for adult fans of LEGO (AFOLs) to display and share their creations made of LEGO bricks. Brickworld consists of both a private convention and a public exposition.
Brickworld's private convention offers workshops, presentations, roundtable discussions, special events and challenges. The event provides an opportunity for fan community to get together and learn from each other. The AFOLs are the main focus of Brickworld. Brickworld occurs annually on the third weekend in June. In 2013 it will be held at the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center in Shaumburg, IL.〔(Brickworld Chicago )〕
Brickworld added a second event in 2010 called Brickworld Indy.〔(Brickworld Indy )〕 Brickworld Indy is a public exposition only (having no convention), and is put on in partnership with the Indiana LEGO Users Group (IndyLUG). It will be held in 2013 at the State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.
Brickworld added a third event in 2011 called Brickworld Fort Wayne.〔(Brickworld Fort Wayne )〕 This event is another public exposition and is held at the Grand Wayne Center in Fort Wayne, IN. Displaying is by invitation only and the event is open to the public over the weekend.
