Brunapeg is a business center and village in the Matebeland South region of Zimbabwe. Prominent establishments are the St Annes Roman Catholic Church which runs mission schools and Brunapeg hospital. The Hospital has a nursing school which has produced a large number of nurses, doctors and teachers. ==Economy== The area exports Genimbasia belina and Gynasamaia spp locally known as Macimbi/Mahonja. It is a dark grey and black in color worm with protruding spine, which measures up to 6–8 cm in length when fully grown. The worm feeds on Mopane leaves. It is exported to Botswana and some of it is transported to the City of Bulawayo for distribution throughout Zimbabwe. There is also huge investment in the area from immigrant workers in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.
